The history of the Tondi Moltoni Palace follows the one of the Tondi family, whose  presence in Bagnaia was reported through documents since the 15th century.

According to the local tradition the palace iwas the first municipal seat of the borgo in 16th century.

Built between the 13th and the 14th century, the palace with cardinal Niccolò Ridolfi became important  to renaissance art with the decorative fresco cycles painted from 1532 to 1550.

The Gallo Palace was built around 1520, by a Roman family of the same name.
